This posting is a tug'o war between Ramayana and Mahabharatha ... I am not so good at this but to my knowledge (i am sorry if i am wrong ) I am gonna talk for both the sides and leave the rest to the readers ... " considering Mahabaratham as more important than ramayanam is right or wrong? " ....
In Ramayana ... The god is born as human ... And he says a lot about perseverance ... I shows how hard u should try for your goals ... Follow your heart ... And doing so all the forces of nature will come in a queue to help u in achieving ur goals. In simple words .... Standardized way of living is described in Ramayanam
Yatha yatha hi dharmasya Glanir bhavathi baratha Abyukthaanam adharmasyaa Thadhasthaanam srujamyaham Pavithraanaya saadhuunam Vinaasayaa chatruskruthaam Dharmasamsthaapanaasthaaya Shambhavaami_yugee yugeee !
This says that u have to do what u hav to ... If its based on Dharma ( truth) just do it ... Its me doing it and if it's not u some one else will be doing it .. So better do it ...
Ramayana happened before Mahabharata. Problems of missing links in Ramayana was rectified in Mahabharata so it looked better. Since it came 1st it should have been the best one. First of its kind ...
But Ramayana says that god had suspected his lovely wife... !!! i dont think this is a good thing to say to the followers ... ?
Both the books were targeted against different audience ... so we cannot use same scale to compare them ... As people usually say "dont compare apple with oranges". The purpose of Ramayana was different from Mahabharata, Personally i dont know the purpose of both of them... but the spiritual leaders know there is some key ... to the real origin lies in both the manuscripts.
Both are different and Both are equally important
I Apologize... if i am wrong
Devdutt pattnaik.... check this guy video he has some intresting side of ramayana and mahabharatha
ReplyDeleteWow... This is interesting information ... The books are from different time period ... Ramayana - Thretayug and Mahabharata - Dwaparyug .... Second interesting info ... Rules and Dharma both are upheald in Ramayana, whereas in Mahabharata Krishna abides by Dharma and Dhuryodhan abides by Rules .... :)
DeleteThe target audiences were people with evil thoughts. How could be their end?. In both these epics, only virtue wins. We need patience and clear mind to understand these epics and their approach to spread goodness..
